What is FSSAI License?
In order to guarantee that food items fulfil safety and quality criteria, the FSSAI, which was founded under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, has required Food Business Operators to get licenses.
Three categories of Food Safety and Standards Authority of India licenses are distinguished by the size and turnover of the business: Basic licenses are for firms with a revenue of up to ₹12 lakh, state licenses are for businesses with a turnover of ₹12 lakh to ₹20 crore, and central licenses are for businesses with a turnover of more than ₹20 crore or that are involved in import and export.
