PANs (Permanent Account Numbers) serve as both identification verification and a determining tool for income tax purposes. Any inaccurate information on your PAN may cause issues down the road. Therefore, it is recommended that any errors or inconsistencies in your PAN be fixed as quickly as feasible. Your name, date of birth, photo, signature, father name, Aadhaar, gender, address, and contact information can all be updated on your PAN card.
When someone applies for a PAN, the Income Tax agency assigns them a 10-digit alphanumeric number.

● Fist three Latter is Random alphabetical series running from AAA to ZZZ.
● Fourth latter is donates to which entity this PAn number is been allotted (P-Individual, C- Company, A- Association, F- Firm, H-Huf, T-Trust)
● Five Latter is donated to your first letter of the applicant surname.
● The next four are a sequential number from 0001 to 9999.
● And the last tenth is check Digit.
