What is DPT-3 Form?
DPT 3 is a form that has been introduced by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for companies to file the deposits that have been taken by them in a financial year. In short, it is a form that is used by companies to inform the Registrar of Companies about all the money that has been received by them in the form of deposits or due to them. This is done to keep everything transparent and to ensure that the people who are putting their money into the company are protected. Moreover, it also helps the authorities to keep a check on what the companies are doing. If a company takes deposits from its members, directors, or even from third parties, there is always some risk involved.
